According to reports more than 35,000 people affected

by floods over the past few weeks in Sri Lanka.

Floods were experienced   in nine districts in Sri Lanka mainly affecting Northern and North Central provinces.  Disaster Management center stated that 43 relief camps have been set up in Northern & North Central provinces.
